In this episode of Diálogos con Gisela, we are joined by María Ysabel Cedano, a prominent lawyer, feminist, and human rights defender who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Throughout her career, she has played an important role in defending women’s rights, including serving as director of DEMUS – Study for the Defense of Women’s Rights, as well as Director General for Women at Peru’s Ministry of Women.

She has also advanced strategic litigation against the Peruvian State before the Inter-American Human Rights System, establishing herself as a leading voice in the struggle for justice, equality, women’s rights, and the rights of sexually diverse communities.
